This is my system....I'm using a 2-tier 3 ft tank.

bottom tank is used as a "water treatment' plant.

and the top tank is use to keep the TVR, with constant water feed from the below tank, and overflow down.

The constant wataer feed thru a air tubing.

The DIY overflow pipe...I've 2 in case 1 stop working,

the overflow from top is going thru a single layer OHF to trap all dirt.
The bottom tank water is running thru a 3 tier OHF to clean up the water. The new water is going into the bottom tank also.

This system is not intend to replace water change, but to prolong the quality of water during my travel days.

Pls comment or suggest for improvement.

Bro...not so much....the tank keeping the TVR is abt 6-8 inch height water level, while the 'reservoir' is about 14 inches.

so means that it's now running like "sump" system issit? The "sump" is the "reservoir" correcto?

if that the case! great! for the TVR... more volume of water.... but depend on feeding times... may still need to do WC often per week

These 2 kashino reallly nice!
