Fx5 is not a decent canister for 5ft. its just barely enough for a 422.. get 2 Fx5 for a 522. Don't forget, overfiltration is better than under filtration.. even when i use fx5 with my 422, the flow isn't really that good.. i have to use another 3000l/hr wavemaker.. and the media size for fx5 is too small for a 522..

For the flowrate i find is enough for my 422. As for the media capacity, I hv to agree with you it's really kinda of little, max out at 7L. |

i guess flowrate & filtration rate is a different matter, will be adding a wavemaker or my current HOF to increase flow & circulation. |
