1) impeller not rotating- the rubber dampers at either end of the impeller shaft are of different sizes, swop them around and problem solved.

2) o-ring leaking- took out and clean, rotate o-ring by 90degrees and applied thin layer of vaseline (wife wondering why i was searching high and low for it). reinstall and problem solved.

3) inlet/outlet adapter leaking- this one took me some time to figure where the hell was the water leaking from. finally saw a fine crack and use superglue to seal it up, problem solved.

4) not enough eheim hoses- wanted all eheim hoses but short of a long hose. think i've been cutting too much of them to connect other pipes. end up cut a short section of pvc pipe as connector, problem solved.

took me almost 3over hours to settle the whole damn addition of the cannister but end result well worthed it. hopefully now tank can handle the increased number of EEs.

After so much hard work, im sure ur tank is able to take more. Ive also addedanother eheim cannister to my EE tank cause the load is way too high for mine. Many cats with the EEs. Now got 2 eheim cannisters and 8 trays OHF!

Lets go lfs to search for more!

thought of changing my single layer OHF to those stackable ones. the problem with the single layer one is always overflow, wool easily choked. now with my cannister running, i think can add more fishes liao. haha..
