That sand ANS can't be used as Ph is high. I have decom that tank.

If can find sand which is slightly acidic then OK.

Bro...how about those that is ph neutral sand?

Some were saying the soil provide "something" for shrimplet to survive...dunno with sand will provide such stuff?

Hence, there were recommendation to dose weekly vitamins, etc.

can share anything that you are dosing?

The ANS sand was neutral But Ph was more then 7.

For me I don't dose anything on weekly basis, occasionally will dose mineral only.

so you are not dosing any vitamin or minerals mud, etc.

Can I also check, you are using peat for lowering pH...the water colour won't turn brown?

No. I just dose this for mineral only. When setup also No mud added below. Just soil, water and the conditioner for mineral.

Previously using peat in aged tank, Yes the aged tank water turn yellowish.
Now I'm not using peat anymore.
