Some unconfirmed reports has Tan Cheng Bock pulling very close to Tony Tan. Both hovering around 35% with Tan Jee Say lagging behind at 25%.
Margin of error is 2% Tan Kin Lian lose deposit

I think TJS has Nicole Seah to thank for some of e votes. Those who wanted to vote for her in e GE may hv cast their vote to TJS since NS endorsed him.
TKL shd hv known he lags behind thus not booking stadium for tonite. |

If TJS gets 25%... then TCB winning potential rises... markedly.

quote from Temasek Review:
================================= Tony Tan leading in the presidential election August 27th, 2011 | Author: Temasek Review According to reports streaming in from our agents at various counting centers, PAP-endorsed presidential candidate Tony Tan is leading by a quite a considerable margin. Dr Tan Cheng Bock is in second place with Tan Jee Say not far behind. Tan Kin Lian appears likely to lose his deposit. First results from one counting centre: Tony Tan – 42%, Tan Cheng Bock – 29%, Tan Jee Say – 22%, Tan Kin Lian – 6% and 1% spoit vote. ‘B’ team reporting: Tony Tan is comfortably leading Dr Tan Cheng Bock. It appears over for Tan Jee Say now. It’s between Tony Tan and Dr Tan Cheng Bock. Tan Jee Say is leading in at least two counting centers in the East – zmg. “Tony Tan unlikely to secure 50% of votes. Most optimistic prediction puts at 42 – 44%.” ST reports TCB leading in the west by 10% now with more counting centers coming in. – rs Tan Kin Lian concedes defeat. TCB eating up the votes in the west, fast catching up on TT. |
