Do not worry about the moderators work load. This system is implemented to ease the workload and will apply to everyone.

If you happen to see an infraction before the moderators do, click on the report post icon on the bottom left corner of the post. That will alert the respective moderators to take action if necessary.

New pattern...

If still not available, suggest that details of these rep pts, infraction pts, etc be made available in the FAQ page or something like that. Maybe can call it "Statutes of AF" ... haha... Like that easier for newbies to orientate themselves with all these points system.

Hahaaa... think this would be a much better approach to adopt, (no complain means no problem). But anyway, its just my opinion.....

An excellent add on to the rep system. Hats off to the ones who came up with it. It is a concrete system that hopefully will have the forum running even more smoothly. Like in face to face conversations, I think ground rules are always better. Cant expect to harass someone and not get into some trouble.There is leeway for human mistakes on the forumer's part, and for the truly obnoxious or stubborn, there's a penalty.

What makes this forum very unique is there is a lot of order. Some forums I see have countless threads that degenerate into nonsense insults and ramblings, too messy to even bother with.

I would imagine used properly this new system will benefit the forum on the whole.

Chit chat is a tough one for me; i personaly don't see it in most of the threads except the misc. few allowed.

In fact at this time i would have to mention that only a small % of people consistantly contribute.(if you look at the views vs. responce)

As far as the gallery is concerned; i would allow some "grey" here as this is the only other avenue to build friendships at the forum.

It's nice to see others dogs,cats,birds ect..as long as it's kept to one or two files.

The only way now is to post as a avatar.
