This I agree, should keep to their words. At least give option. Last time some of the civil servant pension at age of 45 yrs, and got option to extend to 50 yrs or even to 55 for senior officer. At least leave it for the people to decide, don't make it mandatory. They don't handle this very well.

I think if this is the case then the new Medishield price hike is a contraction. Those miniority who do not get themselves covered but later cant get insured from exisiting condition now they can do so at the expense of majority who has to pay more to include this group.

So medishield or cpf issue. Majority of population fork out more premium or delay having their cpf because of minority who dont know how to plan ? Is it fair to responsible citizens ?

thot the policy now allows for 10 to 15% to be withdrawn?

I am referring to the old system . At one time they have a choice of opting for pension or cpf . Alot switch to cpf which have the benefit of not stay with civil servant for life . Now is what scheme i am not sure.

Now gov seems to go with the mode of taxing the better for the less fortunate. This does not bode down well for those sandwich in the middle.
