If there to be a prawning pond set up by QH, I suggest the areas must have sufficient shelter for hot sun since Singapore is quite hot during noon and sometimes heavy downpour.

In addition, as everyone knows that there are endless reports of dengue fever due to breeding of mosquitoes season. So this factor also need to be considered and set up prevention measures since everyone come to enjoy not to get sick eventually.

Basis above, if put into deep consideration. I think crowd will slowly pickup.

I would suggest prawning & skill fishing. Skill fishing can actually have variety of fishes like seabass, mangrove jacks, ang chor ki weighting about 600 - 800 grams strictly using house pole rod. (Must have helper to tie line and hook) It will be better than those patin pond IMO. Patin pond is not fishing but more to hooking the fishes.

As an importer of tropical fish, qh can do something very different, i.e fishing for monster fish, red tail cats, duck mouth cat, peacock bass and other exotics. I am sure many of the diehard hobbyist would like to live the experience of fishing for their familiar tropical fish in an amazon like setting.

It can be catch and release and periodically some exotics like stingrays, GATF etc can be added to attract people.

You can also hae themes like south "east asian riviera" month, then you have asian fishes like toman, grass carp, giant tfb, some IT etc, "Amazon river maddness", "Peruvian delights" featuring fish from these regions.

Prawn fishing, market is very saturated already. Do something different and in which you have a competitive advantage.

I am not a fishing guy, but if can have amazon river theme, i sure go just for the fun of it.

Was actively going to Geylang prawning but keep changing owners and bad business. Imo there crowd is there but the problem is the electricity fees and such would be mostly the main issue. However for like exotic fishes. I advice those to be closely monitered because of it risks..
