But for aro, not sure but you aro will still survive. My advice is to get your water changed, maintain good water parameter. Even if it can be cure, i think it will take a damn long time. No offend.
Hi, ya the hole is the disease, i have been trying to cure it for months. Hope it heal over the time. It is due to very high KH when I put this aro together together with the Koi in the FGT when My tank gone..... It catches some of the disease from the koi too.

I just transfer it to the new tank for around one month and trying to cure it as much as I can.

But as for the scale drop, I dun think it has anything to do with it.

sob.........................

This disease won't spread from one fish to another. Always maintain your water. Hope it heal over the time but it's definitely going to be damn damn long. Happy CNY

hole in the head is caused by dirty filter media.
It will not spread but you need to clean up the filter and keep gd water condition. If got serious, fish may die. The hole will rot further and deeper. My ST died because of this.

This disease don't happen to you fish overnight. It only happens when the fish is in a very bad water condtion for a damn long period of time.
If no action is being done to improve the water condition, the hole will grow bigger and deeper. Good water condition with vitamins added may help.
