Hi Qian Hu,

Just purchase a 550g OF Natural Earth and OF Hydra 50 Internal Filters at C328 today.

May I know the following:

can OF Natural Earth using together with OF Hydra 50 Internal Filter or
need to remove the OF Hydra 50 Internal Filter?

Will it affect the efficiency of the OF Hydra filter.

I dun think need remove.

I using hydra 50. While WC I add bio earth . Similar.
No worries.

For the small compartment , I added biohomme plus 8sticks inside fit tight tight . The bio earth or natural earthwont be affected by the elect

Can I pack OF Nature Earth into tea-bag sachets to contain the sediments before putting into water?

This allow me to clear the sediments away after a week. What will I lose?

Hi,

You will not be losing much of the mineral as most of it will be able to fully dissolve in water except those sediment which might be be of your concern. However, if you are to use those very close and fine membrane sachets to act as a pre filter, then it might have some effect here as most of the mineral might be trap in it. But i cannot be very sure here as we dont really know and measure the mineral molecular and particles size. Hope this information will helps to clear some of your doubt.

By mistake I bought chichlids nature earth instead of arowana.
Can I use it for my arowana tank?

Hi aakash,

Thanks a lot for your purchase and you may still use it on your arowana tank although there is some slight differences in the mineral and trace element content, but it will not cause any harm and your Arowana will still be able to benefit from it.

If I am using Nature earth, for the first time I put is full dosage as per instructed, subsequently WC 20%, i suppose to top up the dosage rite or go for full dosage?
