Can understand your situation
My fish are often underfed Not so often water change And I didn't let them breed until recently Hope SPCA don't look for me after seeing this thread Haha..... |

Changed 50% water today. The darker blue discus colors seem to lightened up. Is that a good sign?

definitely a good sign... you can actually have more frequent water change esp of you feed alot....
