pdr = rtg
bdleo = hb
bd = xb

I'm not disappointed with my choice.

If any bros seen any pdr that look like this kindly show picture of the rays.

Here is some of the pdr pups which I sold years back.. size is about 6"-7".. maybe I should let the pdr parent start having sex again..

I also appreciate BD and rays in general for their ability to morph as they age. The thing is, I have seen very normal looking BD pups turning into a superb piece at a semi-adult stage. If I'm not mistaken, it belongs to Kai from Thailand. Happy ray-ing bros!

Some can even mark out the numbers, alphabet and images from the pattern.

There is no specific way of appreciating a nice fish.
Some like it black, some like it brown by motoro, or sp, some like big spot, some like small dots like star just like P14.

and as they grow, the pattern change...this is wat I like most.
Cheers,

Indeed ray is a very unique fish.
When will you show us some of your rays again update update.

Thanks.

My definition of BDleo is a mix of BD and PDR....hence if it is not a mix, then it is not a mix lor...why pass off as mix?

and if a BDLeo lookalike like BD, sell as BD? would the spot turn small when grow adult?

Most discussions in forum are on pup, hence they look similar....

Maybe you can show some BDleo adult vs BD adult to educate us.

On the colour tone...like I said, is my personal opinion. You try putting a BD and BDleo side by side, and see whether the colour tone is the same.
Maybe is just happen to those few that I seen.

Again, I'm a hobbyist not a breeder...
I see the need to "brand" my fish per it's outlook in order to avoid misconception thereafter. Especially so when it doesn't fall within "typical" description of the higher grade type and furthermore as a breeder whom sell the pups.

Again , till to date what is a clear definition of BD has yet to be established. Thousand and one answers you may find but still ambiguous.

So my take is still " only breeders know it's quality and buyer just need to buy within their liking and budget".

Personal view both rays looks ok to me esp the male with big spots. Fm wat lap sap PDR????? not bad quality lah. If everyone compare rays based on top top grade BD only, then ask urself, one willing to pay that kind of price? I believe many wan pay peanut but wan top grade quality. Affordability is v impt to many. I hv met many that just want to own a simple ray v happy liao cos they cant afford.

BDleo, BD............ we had been discussing abt this so many time and same qns and ans keep coming back. Tired......

I think TS now most important is take note tat both pups looks v small and v young that need extra care. Grooming is needed for the fm, so will turn out better.

BTW not my rays. TS pls also take note tat there r pple out there giving bad comments on other pple rays cos of certain reasons. so pls dont take them too hard lah, not pointing at anyone, just that I heard many many stories recently abt bad mouthing. HAIZZZZZZZZ

Honestly, now I am so scared really so scared to sell BD, BDleo, or normal P13. No matter how u sell will still hv issue........ no end. Unless sold at motoro price then no more issue. HAIZZZZZ really so difficult for breeders. No wonder black monkey dont wan to sell but only export.
