Actually I didn't notice a flow rate reduction, but over time when the dummy canister gets dirtier and with more BB, the flow rate should drop a bit. |

Sian, my PH has risen from 6.1 to around 6.9 over the past 3+ months.
GH = 3-4 KH = 1 Temp = 24.5 -25.5 Initally for the 1st month, my water change is weekly 5% using aged tap water (1-2 days) with Seachem. After that I changed to adding Shizhen and ketapang leaves in my tap aged water (1 week). Measured that my aged water PH is 6.85. I also dose BT-9 or Microlift Special blend after water change and add Mosura Mineral plus once a while when required to keep my GH between 3-4. I have no idea what is the problem. The Benibachi soil is less than 6 months old and the other bro who bought the remaining of my leftover soil does not have this problem. Hence I doubt that my soil has expired. I think it is my water problem. Does anyone have any clue? |
