now that work is out of the way, I've time to update on my setup. I will show the final part of my set up - ventilation.
Many have commented on the lack of ventilation grilles on the front of the cabinet. Reason for that is a purely aesthetic one. Hence I've positioned ventilation grilles on the side of the cabinet as shown below

here you can see on the side of the cabinet, there's grille at the bottom and a photo frame that "camouflages" a ventilation outlet. Both are DIY. Here's a closer look

And for the "kiasu" touch, I have ventilation fans to extract warm/moist air from the cabinet.

Any question regarding the set up, please feel free to drop me a PM. Enjoy

The DIY ventilation vent looks neat. You got the tank maker to drill the hole ?

just a quick update...its been a month since the last video update. The XBs have settled down well in their new tank. Currently feeding them prawns and Hikari food sticks. Its been quite a challenge fine tuning the auto water change system to be as efficient as possible. Currently daily water change volume amounts to around 35litres with a more substantial change of 70-80litres on Sunday.
So far so good, slowly waiting for filtration system to mature whilst dosing with Baxter BB powder once a week. Thinking of installing a UV filter to keep bacteria/parasite in check.

very tempted to add in my 9" BDLEO from the FGT but afraid that I'm pretty maxed out on my filtration capacity. Hate to see the whole tank crash because of severe overloading.
