My observation is if you have a "dirty" tank initially, your skimmer will churns out alot of "shit" like what I had experienced with the Macro Venturi during the cycling of a tank. But thereafter, not much liao. After replacing the Macro Venturi with the new H&S and during the breaking in of the skimmer there was nothing but just bubbles. But about 3 days later, the H&S "kick-in" and that fella was skimming like hell but it has since slowed down to a snail's pace with the normal skimmate even though with no change in feeding habits. IMO, I think our tanks are "sterilized and purified" liao .. |
