Depend on the shrimps u intend to keep...... some shrimp species are easily affect by disease. If your system is not properly filter the chances of disease arriving to visit your tank is highly possible. Not to mention unless you are saying you change water every few days. But think again this will properly stress out the shrimps.

Regardless low grade or high grade, they are still CRS. Seriously a filtration is a must.

Well we will be praying alright, not for your success but for the survival of your shrimp.

If you had a standard 2 ft tank with less than 10 shrimps in an established tank maybe got some hope.

Your tank size as it is, is already a challenge for keeping shrimp. Please for the sake of the shrimp give it some filtration. Whatever grade it is, it is still a life.

But why you want to make a non filter / air pump shrimp tank?

I always feel that its good to give pets maximum comfort, they are good items to maintain water clean and provide more oxygen

Bro surround, i nvr believe in such setup, reasons being similar to wat u've mentioned.
Until I saw tis colg's setup, breed until his small tank can't handle he has to fish them out to gv to other colgs.
It's breeding, nt surviving, dats the astonishing part.

Can't hv filter/pump due to safety in manufacturing environment.

I believe there're more ways to breed crs than we alrdy knw.

Eg dat Indonesian breeder bro whose tanks hv no soil/substrate.

My 2 cents nia. Me still noobs wrt to crs & shrimps keeping.

Just started setting 1 tank in ofc & 1 at hm.
Hm tank is iq5 bcos buy before I saw my colg's filterless tank
