there's no country for old men ............
singapore is constrained by many resources ........... so there's little choice but to move up the value chain - everything will go up - cost of living, retirement age, productivity, demographic density, etc etc i can imagine it's tough growing old here |

In recent times, we have had at least 2 ministers making mistakes. 1 of them was in charge of an escaped fugitive, the 2nd, for underestimating and overspending a given budget for a sports event. Should we also bring in some FTs for a lower fee and compete to see if they can do a better job and wake them up too?

And not only our kids, we as parent as well need to strive for better success inorder give our kids a better back up just in case or least not to be a burden to them in the future. Yes, FT have their good and bad. But what FT to bring in and how many FT to bring in needed in order not to offset the balance? Last edited by PKB; 11-01-2011 at 06:29 PM. |

Maybe in future SGP will be an off-shore state of China. Our white stars on the flag will turn to yellow. |

The old man already said, SGP women will go overseas to become maids. I suppose the SGP men will go overseas to become construction labour, having already trained how to dig trench in NS, so can dig earth on sites. |

I remembered we had a member by the nick of "Oracle", who migrated here from M'sia... and migrated to Australia few years back.
I wonder how is he doing now. |
