The peltier yr got, max cooling 76w.... can cool water volume of 35 ltr & below = < 1.5ft tank....

Provided u got a good heatsink...

Wat size of Heatsink u have?

u mean for the hot side or the cool side?

hotside foxcon heatsink and fan....cold side normal cpu heat sink....SLT nvr sell anything larger than 76w one ar?

Hot side i mean.
U got the peltier, that's the highest watts only in SLT...

I worry yr heatsink may not help, as peltier Tec-12708 is quite hot on running ...

Got lah, go third level, a shop call Silicon, it has all size of heat sink, be more KS, get the largest, will meet ur need.

No lah, mine is 2 feet tank, for electrical bill and less heat generated, I am using phase change chiller.

Those peltier based chillers are I did for fun.

Aye guys, I got a set of "kit" to let go.....anyone interested?
Peltier - 50 x 50mm tink is 100+W type
Power supply - 16A (brand new as in never used bf)
Temp controller - but u need a solid state relay to trigger and oso a probe

PM me for more info.

ok will post it when i get my camera back from the service centre. I using LM35 as a temp sensor .opamp as ampilfer and voltage comparator. as for relay i using a leftover optoisolators / solid state relays to turn on and off my PSU.

This thread is so interesting!

Has anyone tried successfully to cool down a small marine tank with this DIY project? What material do you use for cooling probe?
