But what is my most concerned now is to get the photo as near as possible to angelo's photo. The setup and how the photo should be. Now, I have almost achieved my target, only the right fish I don't have yet! Any sponsors? He he!

You know what, on that Sunday while at Serangoon CC, when I couldn't get my speedlite working, I was so fumed to myself! So mad, that I feel like running out of the place and get to know why my Nikon SB600 wasn't working. My sense was that it has spoilt because I didn't use it for quite some time.

But what my mistake was, I failed to do just one step before getting speedlite to fire. And now, I already know the reason why and I am so happy with the result.

- Cooler tone
- Cropped with more space infront for the fish to "see".
- Fish is in the middle vertically.

Could you share what is the cost of your camera, macro lens plus one remote flash ?

Around $2000 to $2500 ?

Hu hu, I am not an expert but just giving an opinion.

I am not sure whether any PNS camera can do Nikon CLS or Canon camera for that matter, if it does, then it is possible.

Check up with your camera manual whether off hook flash can be done with your PNS. If can, then you can also achieve what we have done last Sunday.

Here are the cost involved

Nikon D70s around $1200/-
Nikon SB600 around $600+
Tamron SP Di AF 90mm Macro 1:1 around $600/-
(all above items purchased at least 4 years back and the price quoted were around that amount because I can't remember the exact $).

Pls check your camera manual whether the built-in flash can be used as a slave unit during flash photography operation. If can, then your camera can also achieve what my D70s can do.
