Can get high cholesterol if feed too much that shorten their lifespan & inability to move about. Got info from some ang mo who own "pacman frogs". Dunno if white treefrog will be as gluttonous thou.

overfeeding of rich foods like pinkies can make your frog obese n unhealthy.

so where do u guys buy these baby mice? Pet shops? They are not meant for feeders, but more as pets ya? Think I saw some in pet shops before....never asked them if its for pets or feeders though. Whats their pricing like?

Actually I haven't seen it before in LFS.

They are more of a food item for "exotic" pets like snakes, lizards, tarantulas, etc. Some people use it as an occasional treat for pacman frogs too.

i get the creeps when i c those pinkies... maybe coz i am afraid of rats and mice.. did not know tat froggies eat them...

It does get some getting used to...

I've seen videos of snakes and pacman frogs eating these pinkies. Do a seach on YouTube if you're interested. There are bound to be such videos.

As for froggies, not many of them can eat pinkies actually. And since the frogs don't eat pinkies in nature, I won't recommend too. But as a very occasional treat, I guess it's ok.
