My aro is having the same pimples... First it was just a couple and now there is a good amount.
It cannot be my water though, I change my water twice a week 30-40% each time for my rays..I add salt and recently turned up my temp to 87F Anybody else cure these pimples yet? |

I had the same pimples.
I too thought it was parasitic. I also had other tank mates. It's one of the other tank mates biting the fins that is causing the issue. Cure is water change add salt. Takes a bit of time but they go away. Your going need to separate the affected fish from it's tank mates so it can heal. |

I have tried melafix, prazi, and erythromycin with no luck. I have continued twice a week water changes of 40-50% adding salt after every change and still no luck. He has had it for 2 months already and it is not getting any better at all.
Nobody is picking on my aro, he is the king of my tank. I may try to scrape them off when I move him to his new home. |
