1) I age my water in a big pail. But it is still water, i.e. no air pump
Is this ok? The water is there between 1-3 days until it has all been used up.

It is better to hv air pump for the aged water. It can get rid off the chlorine.
I hv a 3' tank for conditioned aged water for 5 days.

2) Guppies do not require any air pumps or filter, just a bare tank will do right?

Guppy can be kept with/without air pump.
However, it is advisable to provide air filtration by means of spoonge filter for the purpose of maintaining the water clean. Make sure you siphon out the unfinished food daily and if possible and time allow siphon outthe waste as well to reduce ammonia built up.

3) If i use a cannister filter, how often should wc be?

Sorry, i cant help you. I nvr used it and no idea how to used also..

thanks in advance.
Hope lots of experts can give their advice.

cheers,
Hope the above can help you...

A suggestion - to keep this thread short and neat, the old documents can be deleted when a new one with latest information is posted.

8. Feeding and Food nutritions

nefish: Tubi need to be chop before fed. Handling of tubi mentioned by itchy too, maybe itchy want to add on.....Change, no need to chop, had tried with few days old fries.

10. Genetics

Nefish One of the hardest things in understanding guppy genetics with the purpose of creating or modifying strains is having a clear picture of the physical expression of the alleles of interest, as well as all the possible interactions. Depending on how things go, this series may or may not be incorporated into some other incomplete work. Following link to read on http://guppylabs.info/index.php?Item...tent&task=view
