Anyway, the tank of it is now empty(only with a sunken barrel where it can hide). I removed all the gravels and plants because it's growing some worms and bugs. Noticed 3 kinds of bugs last time.

Here's a picture of my f8 puffer.
Sorry. The picture didn't appear just now.

puffer are great. Used to have them, but couldn't keep up with the massive bio-load. I had to change water about twice to thrice a week just to keep the water clean. I think this is because of the way puffer eats, they chew up everything with their teeth before swallowing, this leads to blood and all the internal guts to be spread in the water. (you can't feed pellet or flakes or even freeze dried)

Instead of the normal fish gulping and swallowing whole, you can see its way more dirty eating this way. Even if you have a MASSIVE tank with a small puffer, you might still need to change water twice a week. Especially if you have a brackish tank for green spotted puffer it is quite a chore. But if you can keep up, it is a rewarding experience.

I always had problem with puffer's parasite problem, better quarantine them for at least a week and treat them with internal parasite medicine even if they appears to be okay. I bought from two different LFS and both had parasites. I learn it the hard way .

Is your F8 Puffer eating regularly? As long as it is, i wouldn't worry too much about it my friend.

Puffers are messy eaters but if you have to change water every few days then your filtration system isn't good enough and not because of the Puffer's eating habits. There are hobbyists who feed their Puffers sinking pellets which i feel is actually cleaner than foods like crayfish, MP and what not.

OH YAR! That IS a Ceylon Puffer. They have black spotted bellies. And come to think of it, it does look a bit too big to be a F8. Thanks Moonwalker!

Oh! Thanks! Yup. It's eating everyday so I guess it's fine.

puffer don't really take pellets, they feed mostly on bloodworms, snails, shrimps or meaty food such as prawn
