I also using sponge filter as the first contact of mech filtration before hitting the filter which the first line also sponge or filter wool.

My fishes were on strictly frozen bloodworm diet, with occasional brine shrimp.

a little update.. US fissiden growing very well and even mini pellia too.. only the jap hg is having not much growth.

That's a decent temperature. Mine hover between 27-28 with a fan. Not sure whether to change the fan to a more powerful one as the Dymax one like very weak. These days are really hot in the afternoons. Sigh...
