mine also laid n eat up on the spot..... think is in a comm tank tats y they do it... adviserable to shift the breeding pair to a seperate tank

My smallest pair of the red head tapajo is holding the 2nd batch of eggs now. i notice only the male is holding the eggs in his mouth, the female only help in defending their "ground".
they have 15 fries in the 1st batch |

my rht laid eggs 2 days ago n today all the eggs MIA.... |

u can see the underside of the mouth. there seem to have a potch for holding the eggs

ok... think the male is holding the eggs now... the eggs will just hatch itself and fries taken care off by the parents rite....

my pair have fail many times. For me, i just suck out fries into those filter media netting & hang it in the tank when they are free swimming |

I only have 2 species of EE.
They look better in darker based tank but coloration are getting nicer as they aged. |
