Haha, just now i saw my 2nd batch of free swimming fries & i just seperate them with the parent.
This time round, they produce more fries as they are more experience parent now |

how long does it takes for the fries to be free swimming?
my pair seems to be still holding the eggs in their mouth... btw u keep the pair in a tank on their own? |

Some dwarf pikes in Red Head Tapajos tank would be very nice. QH had crenicichla compressiseps a while back, don't know if there's any now.
Have seen some nice dwarf pikes every now and then in this forum too. Can experiment with a few fishes. |

The other one is Laetecara (smiling Acara), Nick is selling some of the less common ones, was very tempted to get them and leave them in my dwarf snakehead tank. I'm not so familiar with this fish, but have seen those in Nick's tank, they have a very unusual smiling face, supposed to be peaceful (until breeding?). But during breeding which fish would be peaceful?

I saw them too when i bought the Frontosas from Nick. They are big & fat.

i did saw some dwarf pike at C328 recently, dont know is it same as what u mention.

Mine hold the eggs for about 1 week.
u may want to check this out : http://www.arofanatics.com/forums/sh...=324215&page=3 Now my EEs are in 5ft tank. i got 2 altifron, 2 EE juru & 6 red head tapajo. i got 3 pair of Red head tapajo been formed. Very lucky for me as i get 6 pcs from bro Lucasyhk, ended up i got 3 pair. Now my 1st batch of fries are about 10mm. |
