just bought a batch of cowhead and the seller separated a female that is holding eggs. i put it in a seperate tank and now i see orange eggs on the bottom. is it normal for EE?

shifus, can Acarichthys Heckelii comm with Uarus ?
currently i have clouded archers, uarus, red line torpedos and some friendly cats (pictus, irwini, syno brichardii, flag tail dinemas), everything is peaceful no one fights each other. thinking of adding a few heckelii to spice up the very empty tank.... |

Most likely the egg isnt fertilised or not hatch for some reason. The reason why there's orange eggs is probably because of the difference in water parameters. I always separate my brooding female using the tank water that she is living in so there will not be any problem. even if i try to adjust new water similar to the tank water she is in, the eggs will have problem too |
