I keep my tubi in water levels that barely cover them.. in other words, they're not submerged in water when in the container. wider surface container area works well too..

yeah, i used to keep my tubi submerged, but discovered that they died very quickly and fouled the water very badly (hence the stench).. think it might be ok to keep them in large volume of water, provided it's aerated, like how some lfs have them. for me, find that keeping them half exposed to surface prevents them from dying off.. keep them in the shade and away from direct sunlight so they don't dry up!

hey guys! tubi managed to survive till dis morning wif the method u guys rekcon! but the water in it got foul... notice after WC, they r as reddissh as newly bought. Tks

cool! you probably have to wash them frequently a couple of days after buying them (with aged water), but after that i notice they become more or less 'self-sustaining'.. keep their water level low (barely covering them) and away from direct sunlight

agree n i managed to fully utilised a dollar worth of tubi unwasted on all my bettas n 03 spawns

my tubi manage to survive up to 2weeks, i just rinse it with tap water in the morning/night just barely cover it

and it depend on the lfs where you buy from

i purchase from a lfs in the west, it manage to survive long, but by purchasing from the other lfs in my neighbourhood(east), 3/4 die in the next morning following the same method

i agree.. depends on the lfs sometimes.. i use tap water to rinse my tubi too when i'm lazy, but aged water definitely works best
