Ohh...tks for the clarification...

I went there on a weekday afternoon...the staff was very friendly i just told the guy on the first floor that i wanted to buy acrylic and he directed me up to the 2nd floor where the sales ladies are.

U just need to give them ur dimension and they will cut for u the acrylic...they got different type of colors to choose from and have sample so those who dunno what they want can choose from it.

But 1 thing different is that extra work such as rounding of edges requires extra money...i rounded my edge for additional $5 if i remember correctly.

As for the acrylic i put in my tank for 2-3 months and so far no warping and fishes are still swimming happily.

The acrylic will get sticked to the tank base as mentioned by other bros and i recently just lifted it up using some suction cups and thread to clean and am quite surprised to find little to no dirt stuck underneath despite having not cleaned it for 2 months.

Above just sums up my exp...

Nice FR. What is the thickness of your acrylic bro? And whats your tank size?

I dont think the bottom of the acrylic will be dirty even if you dont maintain it cause the bottom is completely sealed.

Hi bro,

I used 3mm acrylic and my tank size is 5x2.5x2.5. But i didnt cover the whole tank base. I got a 40-41" by 25-26" one and have some spaces so its not a tight fit and the area infront of my overflow is still black base.

Ok here comes the more detail drawings ... i'm not a pro designer hoh . Just using paint to draw one .

Sorry to interupt the conversation ... Occ and shalabin

Just imagine the area i draw in Red that u are going to measure .
The pc 1 just measure the L & W will do .
For the pc 2 important is the 385mm area .If u can't reach the 609mm area , leave it .

For measuring the bracing u can either measure from the front like below ,
Measure from the tank outer edge to ur tank internal outer bracing .

Or u simply just measure from the top view like wat bro OCC posted few post back .( Scroll back few post to see .... dun be lazy )
