Grieve, miracle and tributes !
5 days ago, my one and only berried CRS mama jus dropped dead infront of me. She was like walking very slowly and all of a sudden fell on her side. Initially, she still kick abit of her legs, but gradually, it jus went weaker and weaker until she stops. All these think took less than a minute. Even when i nudge at her, she also didnt move. By now, I knw she's gone.
My berried mama was like 4 weeks pregnant when she dropped dead, during this period, i make sure that she is well fed, got lots of hiding place and no drastic change in water parameters. As she lay motionless, i took a count on the eggs and counted more than 20 of them, a closer inspection discover that little black dots can be seen within the eggs. Immediately, i recalled the artificial egg hatching method which i read fm shrimpnow.com and decide to gv it a try. The way that the egg hatcher looks The eggs i retrieve at the bottom of the bottleneck, supported by the net mesh Never actually tot it will work, this morning woke up and b4 going to work, saw there's 5 shrimplets inside. Was soooooo happy. Jus rch home fm work and proceed straight to check the hatcher, got a total of 12. Yipppppppppeeeee. Pardon me for the poor photos. And now its the tribute, THanKs to all who had invented/ think of this method and also bother to share. Thanks to all that my eggs can hatch and c the world(my tank la) Also thanks to my berried mama.. One more question, What shd i do fm here, they look so vulnerable and some eggs are not hatch yet. |
