Default Wall mounted shelf as stand

Hi

Can I use wall mounted shelf as stand for 1.5 feet planted tank? Can't have a stand as my baby boy is fast and furious on his walker. What are the considerations should I decide to try?

I advice against wall mounted tanks. Very troublesome to maintain and too small volume of water to keep anything significant.

I seen wall mounted, v small , more like a big betta tank sort of, semi bubble type, but that's light and small

If u talking abt 2ft rect tank. Ur support must be v strong, I big size but to carry a 2 ft full of water , no joke. And I tried on my table office table over a year sagged on the half supported side.

And of unbalanced base, ur tank might crack.
And if ur cantilever force on bracket on wall not v secure, if drop, u got a floor full of water and gavel and glass.

Not worth the try

Not recommended cause if you start putting stuff like gravel into the tank, it adds weight. The whole setup is like a ticking time bomb.

Better not. My cousin did that in the past and the whole shelve nearly collaspe. Very dangerous. Unless you're confident that your shelve is able to withstand heavy weight.
