Will chlorine / chloramide affect turtles?

Just wondering whether there is a need to add antichlorine for a turtle tank...
Any advise?

For me, nope. My RES from 2 inches till now bigger then Palm size Le, kept over 2-3 years, direct water from tap, never add anti chlorine.

Zero effect bro. I've kept turtles for 16 years.. never need anti chlorine... until i started using biofiltration.
Direct water from tap is ok for them

By right, it should not affect since they breathe air and would not absorb much chloramines but some argue that by drinking the tap water, the turtle's beneficial bacteria in their body will die and weaken their digestion.
