Your sump is badly designed! 1st to 2nd compartment opening so high. Even the last compartment also quite high.

Thought 2nd and 3rd compartment the space will be somehow the same size?
Looks like your sump tank, quite alot of space is wasted.

Should be designed for marine. The big compartment for skimmer and DSB/refugium.
