If you are one of the bros who wondered why the title of this thread is "The Lost World", as inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, instead of "My Green Laser Corydoras Showcase", here's the full story:
The tank you see below has been setup for over 4 months, but due to terrible algae problems, uneven growth of plants etc, only now I am satisfied enough to showcase the work without being too paiseh. Hope you enjoy the pictoral story! View from the bottom of the valley (the Tree of Life is still growing out "leaves" lol) View after going up the steep slopes of the plateau (No pterodactyls flying around, but there are green neons instead!) I am extremely satisfied with the growth of this red Tiger Lotus, it keeps a low profile but grows thickly.. My pride and joy among the greens - Eriocaulon sp. "Mato Grosso", one of only two plants rated VERY DIFFICULT by AquaticPlantCentral! It was melting very badly at the start and I didn't think that it would make it; until I saw green shoots growing out from the BBA! An aerial view of the Lost World Thank you for viewing, I will add in a video of the waterfall in this tank next week! Last edited by soltari007; 21-04-2010 at 10:59 PM. |
