DIY mini canister
This is my tiny project for my 1 kaki tank.make from air-tight container.can't post pic in this tread.pic to big.don't know how to reduce the size.

Nice. I rather put the pump outside. Housing inside the cannister can be quite hot and not suitable for the nitrification bacteria.

u can just haf an internal pump in ur tank to drive ur cannister. So then ur cannister basically makes up of container and pipes.
not sure if pump in the cannister requires priming, but i'm sure if it's an internal one in the tank it will not need one. |
