Default Help My CRS Tank Please

2 x 1 x 1 feet tank | ohf with 2kg of biohome | pl 36w 6500k light, 7 hours a day

4kg of red gex soil | 15 ada stones | mini nana & hc
flourish 1ml, flourish excel 10ml per week

ammonia 0 | nitrite 0 | nitrate 5ppm
temp 23-25 degree | ph 7.2



questions
is my tank ready for crs?
what is the best way to lower the ph to 6.7?

bro.. where u find the elbow for ur dolphin ohf water outlet tube??? i cant seem to find anywhere..

cover the inlet with the sponge instead. easier to clean as well as trapped food can be easily accessible to shrimps.
dose your excel in small doses daily or on alternate days. one shot dosing may be to concentrated for CRS.

other than the above, your tank looks ready. maybe start with some cherries for a week before getting CRS

For now it seems ok, but soon the pH will increase beyond 7.0

Yea as the bros here mentioned, you need something that will keep the pH lower. Mine is ard 6.4 - 6.6.

Start with lower grade CRS first, make sure everything's fine.

Nice setup there, btw

noted, don't think i will use cherry to test water as their requirement is a little different
