DREAMFISH INC. POLICY ON GOLDEN HEAD AROWANA

hrFH by pschia71, on Flickr

We regret that Dreamfish Inc. is unable to provide any after sales guarantee on the development of arowana Gold Head (GH). This is because we have no control over the keeping technique of our customer.

Arowana’s GH is man-made and greatly dependent on the environment of where fish is kept. Apart from arowana bloodline and white tank, there are still many variables that contribute to the growth of GH. Even with all the “hardwares” in place, the GH will not able to develop without a good “software”. This “software” is greatly dependent on each individual keeping skill which fluctuates with time.

GH was an accidental discovery when breeder and trader experimented on gold arowana using white tank treatment (WTT). WTT was first used by many other breeders and traders to cheat and raise profitability through temporarily raising the scale colourisation of the 5th row, 6th row and the pearlies of the lower grade gold arowana and sell them as genuine grade arowana. This has damaged and destroyed the joy of watching the natural development of a genuine grade arowana. However, it has also introduced a new way of appreciating gold arowana through the development of GH.

Dreamfish is reputed for developing GH from superior arowana bloodline. At the same time, our GH development technique will ensure a more stable GH which will continue to grow or will not fade in our customer tank when given the due tank environment and keeping skill.

Dreamfish’s duty is to produce the best potential and a strong foundation for the GH. So that, the hobbyist can have a right piece of specimen to work on. Thus, acquire the right technique in keeping GH arowana. Both breeder and hobbyist play an important part in maintaining the GH.

Additonal information: All variety of gold arowana including gold crossbreed arowana have the potential to develope GH. Hence, hobbyist have to be discerning in choosing the GH arowana. If not, hobbyist will be short-changed!

Hi Weixiang80,

Thank you for your concern and suggestion. We have always use GH as a descriptive word and not a name for our Arowana.
