Feedback on TOM 800 Powerhead
Just bought a return pump today.
The brand is TOM 800. Its small, and the flowrate is 3200L/H. Power consumption is 34.5W - 25.2W AC200V / 240V 50Hz The flowrate is just nice for my 3ft tank. Hope anyone using this return pump could give their feedback and comments. |

It's a very good pump, quiet, powerful but vibration is a little bit strong!

Used to have one for my 2ft setup, quite satisfied with the performance.
But i feel it may not be sufficient for a 3ft. |

Any idea how long the pump would last? Also another factor is the low wattage which would save quite lot of $ in the long run. |

I have been using this pump for a long time...at one stage was even using it as a return pump for my 6 footer...actually strong enough. but now use it as a power head in that tank.
Where can you find a Japanese made (not China, Taiwan) pump for that kind of price...One of the pumps have been running for over 3 years and it sill works fine. Real value for money. |

I am having TOM Drive 400....using it for my return pump for a 4 ft tank. the flow is quite okay.
Cautious: from the packaging it writes that it is not supposed to use it for Salt Water. But since buy liao, will use it anyway. |
