The 3 Phases of Hydro-Pure Technology
Phase 1. Aquarium water containing Protein, Ammonia (NH3) and Nitrite (NO2-).

Phase 2. Cata-pure Media reaction produces reactive Hydroxyl Radicals (•OH) from water. Hydroxyl Radicals (•OH) reduces Protein, toxic by-products like Ammonia (NH3), Nitrite (NO2-), and odour from Sulphur-based by-products.

Phase 3. Biologically clean and healthy water for fish and invertebrates.

3DM Biological Filter Media
Hydra Filtron uses 3DM, a professional-quality #filtermedium used by stingray and koi breeding farms and research labs to provide the best possible biological filtration.

Featuring a macro porous structure from the surface to the core, 3DM delivers up to 10x more surface area for beneficial bacteria than most filter medium in the market. What this means is that a small volume of 3DM can provide the same surface area as a canister-full of other filter mediums.

The bacteria will then be able to effectively break down toxins in water, creating a safe, healthy environment for your fish.

Other Product Features
● One Pull Priming. A quick pull of the Primer draws water into the canister making it ready to use

● Valve for Easy Maintenance. Valve controls at the inlet and outlet pipes eliminate the hassle of dealing with water spills during maintenance

● Surface Skimmer. Removes unsightly surface oil film to improve oxygen exchange and increase light penetration at water surface
