Hi bros and sis,

In recent years, more and more hobbyist started to shift their focus to improve the water quality to suit the needs of their fishes.
Fishes comes from all over the world and they all have their own preferred water conditions.

In order for them to adapt well and even breed in our local waters, there are increasing number of hobbyists that are "altering" our incoming water to create a water condition that suits their beloved fishes.

One main factor or water parameter that most hobbyist twit will be the pH of water water and TDS is also one of the key factor. In order to better manage the pH, many hobbyist turn to purchasing DI water from supermarket to perform top-up or even purchasing a RO system for home usage.

WFA Filtration would like to introduce our DI Resin Cartridge.



DI resin works as ions have electrical charges: ions with a negative charge are called anions, and ions with a positive charge are called cations. Just like magnets, these ions are attracted to oppositely charged substances. Therefore, when water is passed through a bed of DI resin, we pass it through a blend of positively and negatively charged beads, which binds all the corresponding ions and leaves only pure water at the end.
Typically it remove contaminants including heavy metals, silicates, phosphates, nitrates.
It is normally used to "polish" the water and reduce the TDS in the water.

The typical setup of a DI system will be either in a 2 stage 10" system or a 2-3 stage 20" system

yes, it can be combined, but most of the time its used independantly as it will be pretty heavy to carry 5 or 6 housings together

The DI system normally comes in either 2 stage or 3 stage setup
