Can I ask a Q, do we need to put a layer of base fertilisers if we used this type of gravel?

Nice scape. I see that you have one plant with twisted long leaves behind the log. Is it being planted alone? I think that the plant needs to stand alone as it is quitea difficut plant to grow.

Also you might want to get some tall plants like swordplants to hide the long filter intake pipe.

was thinking of away how to hide the intake pipe... will see to that.
