btw is it ok if i place my chiller 5-6meter away from my tank? bcoz my tank is inside my room. just want to get rid of noice and heat.
so my in/out hose is more then 10meter. any idea? |

Resun 500 is stronger than cl650...
as for hose 5-6metres away, no problem.. provided you are using a very strong n high flowrate pump.. on chilling part, it will take a longer time to chill your tank.. |

Try to insulate the hoses.
I use those aircon tube sponge to insulate them. |

As long as not too long and with some insulation aid, it should still be fine, though pump will have to be stronger. Alternatively, especially if you have expensive lifestock, it may be wiser to choose a better chiller that is more efficient and quieter that you can put in the room.

Use a overpower head but it would be quite a hassle to find out the flowrate when it reaches the chiller. Unless you want to get a flowrate meter or use external probe, if want to use external probe you will have to extend the wire as i think standard probe doesn't have so long wire..
FYI, C0500 has very loud sound as it is a 1/2HP chiller so it is wise of you to place it outside... |
