I love rummy nose tetras but do they get attacked by the discus?
I feel that the landscape looks a bit flat, have you experimented with some gradual slope or a cluster of different height plants to break the monotony of the flat ground? |

Rummy nose are very fast swimmers compared to cardinal. Discus can't catch them.
