What macro lens for D60?
Hey bros, I just got a 2nd hand D60 recently, wondering what macro lens to get for it... A basic one for starters will do.. I remember someone taking a pic of his betta using a D60 fitted with a macro lens but can't recall who... Nevermind about that.. Any recommendations?

What is the diameter of the lens on your 2nd hand D60? There is a range in order to use the Raynox DCR-250.
I used the Raynox DCR-250 too. Bought it at $120 from Jim in the mcgill website mentioned above. With this macro converter lens clipped onto the front of your lens (my kit lens is 58mm diameter), I can focus close to 5cm or less between subject and camera. Used manual focus and move your cam body fwd or backwd instead of turning the focusing ring. I used it to take close up photos of insects in the wild and park and pretty happy with the the macro photos result at this price. |
