Hi bro,

Some newbie questions. Hope you don't mind me.

Just to check what is the main diff btw this DI system and normal system?

Does the DI system aids in certain types of fishes which more sensitive (i.e. Altums/Discus) ? If keeping arowana, tigers and bichirs do I required to get them?

Hi bro, good question!!

The DI system is normally used with wild caught fishes, marine fishes and shrimps. Mainly to hav a much lower tds level to help soften the water so that these fishes feel at home.

The normal 3 stage system is to filter chlorine and sediments from the water during water change. Tis will allow the user to perform direct top up to the tank without having the need to add any water conditionals.
For most tropical fishes, aros, guppies, locally bred rays, Juz the normal 3 stage system is good enough

Nope, for the di unit, it's not advisable to leave it expose to sunlight. Short duration is fine, but not for storage condition under the sun.
