Soft corals need calcium?
Hi bros, do soft corals need calcium? If we keep the whole tank with just soft corals, no hard corals at all, do we need to maintain calcium level at 450ppm?

Actually, I seriously doubt that dosing iodine help bring out colour in soft corals.
They are very easily skimmed out and the only effect I've seen is that it stimulates splitting especially in mushies. Iodine supplements can be found in most fish shops that carry supplements |
