Wc while in 2ft tank was ard 20-30% daily.

In 5ft, no WC has been performed as yet. Only sucking out the shit & leftover food with filtered water returning back to tank.

Temperature in 2ft was hovering 29 to 32.

Temperature in 5ft is hovering 34 to 35. This is due to recent higher temperature locally correct?

Bro, from pic your aro does not look stunned growth.

I suggest at least once a week wc at 40%.

Make sure you have a reputable water conditioner too.

Add sufficient air stones for the current burning temperature.

Btw, your xb looks good

Wc 40% serious? Think that's almost 300litres of water. Seen many videos & pics of 1.5yr old xb, they all seem bigger than this baby. That's why wondering if really stunted.

Cert tallies when aro was scanned at LFS at Serangoon north. Pretty sure the tag number is the same as displayed on the cert. There was another xb partitioned inside the same display tank then, was told it's a sibling aro. But that piece looks at least 2 inch longer, broadness is the same though.

from what I notice. the date on the cert cannot be use to tell the age or the tagged date of the aro... I got aro bought from LFS this year, the cert is like Jul/Aug2014, but the aro only 5-6"??? and also knowing some bro in the farm I notice that the date in the cert are already pre-printed before the tagged number are print.

that how I learn that the date on the cert cannot be use to tell the age of the aro..

actually there are no 100% method to tell the age of the aro... it all depend on the environoment they live it and the food they eat. aro some the same batch can grow to different in size after 6months.. some get bigger , some dont grow that fast

Then did you ask them ?
When you purchase and arowana at what size and date issue is 21/01/2014 ?

I do not know about other farm but the arowana I bought from, the farm print the certificate when i purchase it. It could be printing error.

Just let them know the cert number and where you purchase it from and they should be able to verify for you.

You said the sibling is about 2 inches longer. That show the fish is slow in growth. Mean the bigger ones is 8 inches long. Aro not sold and kept in small tank space will have very slow growth rate.

One good news is that your arowana grow an inches in a month time. That show that it should be growing normally.
