In that case, most likely is the heat killed the chips. If you touch the LED lightset and is very hot, the chips will not lasted. As they are low wattage. Even for those 6ft high wattage LED lightset for planted tank, their chips are separated far apart some each other and you can see a giant heat sink to disperse the heat.

somehow I think it might be loose cable.. soldering no good...maybe shake shake the cable or connectors and see if it works..

Do you guys use submersible led lighting? Those that can be fasterned by suckers on the tank wall? It seems better to me looking at it at shops as most casing light will have condensation inside when used.

Usually I tray not to use as suction in the long run may run loose.
