Lol, i know i know!! Dead skin tissues! Like when we shower and scrub our body, those dirty things that came off from our body!!

*hands u a ruler to smack my hand for the incorrect answer*

Calcium is important for invertebrates' growth. Then again, this is what i feel. Calcium tablets for human consumption type or specifically for shrimps? Human consumption calcium tablet may come in high concentration/mg which may be unsafe for aquarium purpose. Also it may dissolve in water after a period of time. It may cause the water to be filled with too much calcium, good or bad lets hear from the experienced then.

Just my 2 cents. Hands the mike over.

hmm. what shrimps need to have better forming of their shell is chitin which happens to be in the mosura product shizen. too much will increase your kH and in turn, pH will be affected. just dose lightly will do.

If you do a search far back enough, you will find that someone already got into trouble for using calcium that is not meant for shrimps.

The shrimps ended up dying because of too much calcium and that they couldn't moult.

Your are better off using a specialized product like the one that bro eviltrain mentioned. But I think mineral plus would be more suitable in this case.
