2211 connect to chiller question
Bros, I am planning to get an Eheim 2211 connected to a Hailea 100A for my 30cm cube. Can I go ahead with this plan or will the flowrate drop over the years? I was advised to use 2215 for my cube since I would be connecting it to a chiller. Thanks!

2211 sounds adequate for a cube tank.
if u're concerned, u may consider 2213 and then aim the outlet against the tank wall so that u do not end up with a "washing maching" in your tank. 2215 is WAY overkill imo... |

There is only a slight increase of about 100 litres per hour but an increase of 3 times of media space. Anything above a standard one feet tank should run a 2213, and yours is a one feet cube! The 2213 also comes with a very friendly basket system which makes cleaning your filter a breeze. It is the only classic filter with the basket system if I am not mistaken. |

Thanks for the reply bros! Went to AQ 09 just now.. Eheim ecco pro 200 looks good too! Wonder if the GEX chiller coming into Singapore soon, looks compact and small enough for my cube!

I like the shape and design of the GEX chiller too.. Hopefully it will hit the markets soon and we will see some reviews on it.

Hi Bros & Sis
I use a 1/6 hp chiller on a 4 ft tank. I use a 1/2 hp chiller on the same tank.(not 2gether of course) Which chiller will kick in more often? Thanx |
